How did you first discover GO!GO!7188?

Just like I discovered EVERY Japanese act I like.................I saw them on PaPaPaPaPuffy!!!!

 

They did Jet Ninjin with Ami and Yumi!!  Then Ami and Yumi made them eat lots of food...............Go!Go! look so young (Akko and Yuu are 20 here) and cute in this:

 For me, it was hearing them whilst in Japan for my brothers wedding to a Japanese woman.My whole stay was just completely mind-blowing, and I fell in love with so many aspects of Japan-not least fresh, new and DIFFERENT music, of which Go!Go!7188 were a stand-out.Boy,do they ROCK!I think they may now be my fave band ever...
 I snapped up Parade, which was in the charts at the time, and have been gradually collecting everything else they've done.
 The dream is to one day see them live!

Welcome to the forum.  Well I’m coming close to that dream.  I’ll be in Japan in May in the middle of their “2 Man Tour.”  But the only show during my stay is on the day I leave!  Oh so close.

GO!GO! did play a show in New York last year so lets hope they do a little bigger one in 2008.
